A: I think the biggest reason many people go to museums when they have a trip is simply because museums are almost always introduced in the travel guides we buy at book stores. For example, I am planning to visit Paris this summer so I am checking the travel guide to Paris. In the guide, most highlighted is the Ruble Museum where you can see a wide variety of pictures. My view is that when people travel to a new place, they look for the specific places to go to. And most of them would decide which place to visit, checking the guide books, It is only natural for many people visiting the place where the travel guide focuses on. To recap, the reason why many people visit museums when they travel to new places is because travel guides are more likely to highlight them.
