Q: Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Universities should give the same amount of money to their students’ sports activities as they give to their university libraries. Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion.

A: It totally depends on what type of university that is. If a university aims to create many athletes who can compete on a national level, the university need to put more investment on sports activities. On the other hand, if a university aims to generate many students who are academically competitive, they should invest more on books and libraries. I graduated from a university that is focused on law 10 years ago and since leaning laws require a lot of research through reading relevant materials, the university put a significant amount of money on maintaining its huge libraries.
